A concise explanation of what the public website processes, what HydroGeo stores, and where visitors should place project-specific information.

HydroGeo operates this website to publish approved service, project, team, and technical information; help visitors find relevant public content; receive project briefs; prevent automated abuse; and support qualified human follow-up.

The website uses Cloudflare for hosting, private inquiry storage, and Turnstile security checks, and Resend for data-minimized project-brief notifications. The Service Guide itself runs locally in the visitor's browser.

Local service finder

General questions only

The HydroGeo Service Guide is a deterministic local information finder. It matches controlled terms, regional wording, abbreviations, and contextual clues against HydroGeo's approved public terminology and service content. It does not generate engineering advice or replace qualified professional review.

  • Terminology matching runs in the current browser. Raw service-guide questions are not submitted to HydroGeo's server, OpenAI, or another external AI provider.
  • Conversation text is kept in the current browser tab using session storage and can be cleared from the guide. Obvious email addresses, telephone numbers, and coordinate-like values are replaced before a visitor message enters that session history.
  • HydroGeo does not write service-guide questions, matches, or responses to its project database.

Do not enter names, telephone numbers, email addresses, exact project locations, coordinates, client information, or confidential project records in the guide.

Contact details and coordinate-like values are excluded from terminology matching. The guide cannot guarantee detection of every sensitive phrase, so visitors should use the project brief for a controlled handoff to qualified HydroGeo personnel.

Project briefs

Information you choose to submit

The project-brief form is separate from the automated guide. It stores the information submitted after consent so HydroGeo can review and respond to the enquiry.

  • The complete brief is stored in HydroGeo's private inquiry database and is not placed in notification emails.
  • Resend processes a data-minimized team alert and visitor receipt after an accepted brief is stored. The team alert contains the reference, service, organization, project stage, schedule, and urgency; the visitor receipt contains the reference and review boundary.
  • Open and click tracking are kept disabled for the notification domain. Delivery, delay, bounce, suppression, and failure events are retained as operational states.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and device signals to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Its token is validated on the server and is not stored with the project brief.
  • Rate limiting uses an opaque first-party cookie and keyed hashes with expiring counters. HydroGeo does not store raw IP addresses in those counters.

Only provide records you are authorized to share. Avoid uploading or pasting confidential client material until the appropriate project arrangements are in place.

Storage, security and browser state

What persists and what does not

  • Service Guide conversation text remains in session storage for the current browser tab. It is not a cookie and can be cleared from the guide.
  • Online project briefs and their notification-delivery states are stored in HydroGeo's private inquiry records. Current code does not apply an automatic deletion period to those records.
  • An opaque, secure, HTTP-only first-party cookie supports privacy-preserving inquiry limits. It contains no raw IP address and expires after 30 days.
  • Hashed rate-limit counters expire by their hourly or daily window and are deleted opportunistically within 48 hours after expiry.
  • No Metricool or other public analytics tag is included in the current website source.
  • Facebook and WhatsApp are optional external contact links. The HydroGeo website does not send a message or project brief to either service merely because a page loads; their own service terms apply after a visitor chooses to open one.
  • Gmail and Outlook compose links are also optional. No email content is sent to either provider merely because the page loads. The chosen provider receives the recipient, subject, and prepared message only after the visitor opens its link; the visitor must still review the message and press Send.

Formal retention periods, legal-rights wording, cross-border processing language, and a designated incident-contact policy require separate owner or legal review and are not asserted by this technical notice.
