FieldTag terms of use

Purpose of the service

HydroGeo Innovations | FieldTag supports field-photo capture, notes, location records, backup and daily reporting. It records user observations and does not independently verify their truth, certify surveyed coordinates or provide engineering approval. Review the recorded details and report content before relying on or distributing them.

Authorized and responsible use

Use the app for observations and photographs you are authorized to collect, store and submit to the configured backend owner. Respect site access requirements, confidentiality and other people's privacy. Do not attempt to access another user's cloud records, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit harmful content. The observer name entered in a record is supplied by the user; the Google submitter identity is recorded separately.

Storage and backup

A local save confirms storage in this browser profile. It does not confirm a cloud backup. Check the Backed up status and retain a device export before clearing site data, reinstalling or changing devices. Connectivity, account authorization, Google or Cloudflare availability, storage limits and mobile background scheduling can delay backup. First loading and Google sign-in require connectivity; cached local fieldwork can continue offline.

Accounts and team records

Ordinary users sign in with their own Google accounts. The configured backend owner controls the central spreadsheet and photo folder and can compile all submitted records. Local data can be viewed by anyone using the same unlocked browser profile. Protect your device and follow your organization's rules for field-data handling. The privacy policy describes the information processed and access arrangements.
